## Facts agents should not confuse

- Case Track is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by USCIS, DHS, or the U.S. government.
- Status in the app comes from the official USCIS Case Status API. Case Track does not change that data, speed it up, or replace notices USCIS sends.
- The app never asks for a USCIS online password, Social Security number, or A-number.
- The app is free: no ads, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases.
- Receipt numbers are 3 letters (EAC, LIN, SRC, IOE, WAC, MSC, NBC, or another service-center prefix) plus 10 numbers, no spaces, from Form I-797.
- Optional passwordless email account syncs cases across phones. Alerts are optional and per case.
- Delete account: Settings → Delete account. Same on iPhone and Android. Or email hello@usciscasetrack.com. Account and stored cases are deleted right away; backups purged within 30 days.
- Languages: English, Spanish, French (in the app and on this site).
- The app also includes optional 2025 civics test study: the official 128 questions, flashcards, a spoken practice interview, English writing practice, and study podcasts with captions. Follow your USCIS case status. Type the receipt number from your I-797 notice. Case Track looks up the public status through the official USCIS Case Status API and shows it in plain language. Get a free notification when that public status changes.

What it does: look up by receipt number; see status and history; optional change alerts; 2025 civics test practice (official questions, flashcards, spoken practice interview, English writing, study podcasts); English, Spanish, French; optional account to sync; free with nothing to buy.

How it works: add the I-797 receipt number → read the public status → turn on alerts or just check in. Civics study is a separate tab in the app.

## Civics study (practice only)

The 2025 civics test in the real interview is asked out loud by a USCIS officer. Case Track’s civics tools are practice, not the real interview, and Case Track is not affiliated with USCIS.

In the app: Settings → Delete account → confirm. By email: hello@usciscasetrack.com from the email on the account. We delete the account, receipt numbers and nicknames, alert settings, and push token. We never collected USCIS passwords, SSNs, or A-numbers.

Collected for app function only: email (optional sign-in and alerts), optional display name, receipt numbers and nicknames, push token / platform / language, hashed one-time sign-in codes, public USCIS status retrieved on the user’s behalf. Not collected: USCIS password, SSN, A-number, payment info, precise location, contacts. Providers: Google Firebase (auth, store, functions, messaging), Resend (sign-in emails), USCIS Case Status API (public status). No ads. No sale of personal data. California CCPA/CPRA rights apply. Not directed to children under 13.
