What it does

Your cases, the public status USCIS already publishes

Case Track is for following cases you own or are authorized to track. It reads only public case-status information. It never asks for a USCIS password.

Look up by receipt number

Enter the number from your I-797 notice — 3 letters then 10 numbers, for example EAC1234567890.

See status and history

Get the current status, a short explanation, and the history USCIS provides. Pull to refresh anytime.

Optional change alerts

Turn on alerts for a case if you want a notification when that public status changes.

English, Spanish, French

Use the app in the language you prefer. Switch anytime in Settings.

Sync if you want an account

You can use the app without an account. An optional email sign-in keeps the same cases on more than one phone.

Free, with nothing to buy

No ads, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases.

How it works

Receipt number → status → optional alerts

Three steps. The data comes from USCIS. Case Track does not change it, speed it up, or replace the notices USCIS sends you.

Add the receipt number from your I-797

Find it on any notice USCIS mailed you (Form I-797). It starts with three letters — EAC, LIN, SRC, IOE, WAC, MSC, NBC, or another service-center prefix — followed by ten numbers. Give the case an optional nickname if you track more than one.

Add a case screen: receipt number field, optional nickname, and a toggle to notify when the case changes.

Read the public status

Case Track looks up that number through the official USCIS Case Status API. You see the current status, what it means in plain language, and the full text USCIS provides — including form type and a masked receipt number.

Case detail showing Case Was Approved, a plain-language explanation, and the full status from USCIS.

Turn on alerts, or just check in

Keep a list of cases on the home screen. If you want a notification when USCIS updates one, turn on alerts for that case. Create an optional email account only if you want those cases synced across devices.
