Terms of Use

Effective June 3, 2026 · Last updated August 30, 2026

Welcome to Case Track. Case Track is a LA Factory product, distributed by GiveMe5 Inc. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and GiveMe5 Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read these Terms carefully. They explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.

CaseTrack is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) or any U.S. government agency. CaseTrack does not give legal advice.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By downloading, opening, or using CaseTrack, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. What CaseTrack is

CaseTrack is an independent, unofficial tool that helps you follow your own USCIS case status by receipt number. It shows public case-status information in plain language, in English, Spanish, and French. The app is free. We do not show ads, and we do not sell subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Case Track is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by USCIS or the U.S. government. The app reads public case-status data through the official USCIS Case Status API.

3. Not legal advice

CaseTrack is for information only. The status and explanations we show are not legal advice and should not be treated as legal advice.

For questions about your case, your options, or your rights, please talk to a qualified immigration attorney or contact USCIS directly. Do not rely on CaseTrack alone to make legal or immigration decisions.

4. Eligibility

To use CaseTrack, you must be able to enter into a binding contract under the laws that apply to you. CaseTrack is not intended for children under 13, and they may not use it. If you are using CaseTrack on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you are allowed to do so.

5. Your account

CaseTrack uses passwordless sign-in. When you sign in, we send a one-time code to your email address. You enter that code to access your account.

  • Keep access to your email account secure, since anyone with access to your email can request a sign-in code.
  • You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account.
  • Tell us right away if you think someone has used your account without your permission.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use CaseTrack fairly and lawfully. In particular, you agree to:

  • Only look up case numbers that you own or that you are authorized to track.
  • Not use CaseTrack to access another person's information without their permission.
  • Not abuse, overload, or interfere with the service or the systems behind it.
  • Not scrape, copy in bulk, or harvest data from the service.
  • Not reverse-engineer, decompile, or try to extract the source code, except where the law allows it.
  • Not use CaseTrack for any unlawful purpose or in any way that breaks these Terms.

7. USCIS data and third-party terms

The case-status information shown in Case Track comes from USCIS and belongs to USCIS. We display it through the official USCIS Case Status API. LA Factory holds the developer agreement with USCIS for that API.

When you use this data, you agree to do so in a way that is consistent with the USCIS website Terms of Use.

The accuracy, timeliness, and availability of case-status data are controlled by USCIS, not by us. We cannot change the data, speed it up, or guarantee that it is current.

8. Availability and changes to the service

We are always working to improve CaseTrack. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time, and we may limit access to parts of the service. We may also stop offering CaseTrack entirely. When we can, we will try to give notice of major changes, but we are not required to.

9. Disclaimers

CaseTrack is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do our best to keep it useful and reliable, but we cannot promise it will always work perfectly.

Case status shown in the app may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, because the underlying data comes from USCIS. To the extent allowed by law, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that arise from your use of CaseTrack. This includes any decisions you make based on the information the app shows you. Your use of CaseTrack is at your own risk.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your misuse of CaseTrack or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You can stop using CaseTrack at any time, and you can delete your account whenever you want. We may suspend or end access for any account that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is being misused. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as disclaimers and limitation of liability, will continue to apply.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located in that state, unless the law requires otherwise.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here, change the "Last updated" date at the top, and provide a short, plain-language summary of what changed. For any material change, we will ask you to actively agree to the updated Terms before you continue using CaseTrack. If you do not agree, you can stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
